Mainstream Support for SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2 has ended on July 8, 2014. Microsoft is ending support for these products as part of our Support Life-cycle policy.
On January 14, 2020, support for Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 will end. That means the end of regular security updates. Don’t let your infrastructure and applications go unprotected.
When Windows 7 reaches its End of Life phase on January 14, 2020, Microsoft will stop releasing updates and patches for the operating system.
